Body Cover-Up Makeup FAQsWhat kind of body cover-up makeup is used?Wake Up in Makeup uses a proprietary, Food and Drug Administration appoved alcohol based formula. All ingredients are non-toxic. The makeup is produced here in the United States.Is the makeup waterproof?Yes. The makeup is waterproof so it is safe to swim, workout, shower, and enjoy physical activities. The makeup also holds up well under intense lighting such is the case for photo shoots, filming, and the theatre.How is body cover-up makeup applied?Body cover-up makeup is applied with an airbrush for the smoothest application possible.How do I know you have the right body makeup tone for me?Each and every client will receive their own custom blended color with a color match. Will my body makeup come off on my clothes, towels, sheets, and other fabrics?No - the body makeup will not come off on any fabrics once it is completely dry. When you leave the makeup will be dry to the touch. The makeup will be completely dry withn 24 hours.What does the body cover-up makeup feel like?Once the body makeup is completely dry it will feel just as soft and smooth as your natural skin. It WILL NOT feel mosit or "cakey" as pastes usually do.How do I prepare my skin for a body makeup application?The makeup adheres best to skin that is non-oily and well-exfoliated. You can exfoliate using a loufah, wash cloth, or mild scrub. You should not have on any lotions or perfumes as these products will not allow the makeup to adhere properly to your skin. You should also remove any hair in the areas where the makeup will be applied. You should perform some type of hair removal (razor, wax, cream, etc) even if you don't believe you have hair or can't see it.How should I dress for a body makeup application?Your comfort is first and foremost. You should undress as much as you comfortable doing so. However, any articles of clothing that cover in the area being airbrushed will cause lines similar to that of a tan. You should wear dark , loose clothing after the application. What happens during a body makeup application?You will stand for your body makeup application. You will be asked to rotate, bend, and stretch so that natural creases in your body are exposed for airbrushing. I have skin discolorations and/or hyperpigmentation. Will those areas blend?The body makeup we use is opaque in nature. Usually, one spray will blend exceptionally well. Another layer of body makeup can be added as well.How long will my body makeup last?Your body makeup will last two to five days depending on how you well you care for it.How do I care for my body makeup after it has been applied?Here are some basic tips for extending the life of your body makeup: * Apply talc or baby powder before and after sleep, shower, and physical activities * Avoid soaps, lotions, and oils that are not water based or have excessive moisturizers * Pat dry your body makeup when it gets wet * Do not scrub or rub your body makeupHow do I remove my body makeup?To remove your body makeup just wipe it off with rubbing alcohol or baby oil.
