Lash Extensions
So for those of you who may not know...I am not one of those high maintenance types of chics. I am the lip gloss and eyeliner (on a special occassion) girl. But I admit that gets boring-not enough to wear makeup but just enough that I want to add a little drama every now and then...My solution-lash extensions.
After many months of debating and research, I journeyed to this little studio called Wake Up In Makeup on Saturday morning to begin my experiment. The owner/technician Roz, was very accommodating and knowledgeable. I did my homework, so I knew that I did not want to go too drastic. So I asked her to give me a more natural look. I laid back and relaxed to soothing music...and a hour and a half later, I was done. No pain, no discomfort. I really did not feel anything except the occasional puffs of air to dry the adhesive.
I can't even tell that there on, so I've found my self going to the mirror every chance I get to make sure that they are still there. LOL! My only regrets, that I did not go more dramatic. Next time I want to go for a more fuller look.

Airbrush Tanning - Part 1
Hey Roz,
OMG my tan looks AMAZING! You weren't kidding when you said it darkens in a matter of hours. I haven't been done that long and I see a HUGE difference!

By the way, it was so great speaking with you. You made this very personal experience a very comfortable one. :) I was a little nervous to strip down in front of a stranger and have them focus on my body...but you made me feel so comfortable. There is no doubt in my mind that when I want an airbrush tan, I will be coming back to you. :)

Airbrush Tanning - Part II
I started to get really really dark around 8pm (to the point where it was looking fake) but I decided to wait until 9:00 to finally take a shower. When I got out I Iooked in the mirror and I felt so white!! I was feeling a little low, thinking I didn't wait long enough to wash, but when I looked this morning I was tan again!!! Not sure what happened, maybe the heat from the shower or the comparison to my super tan self made me look pale, but in the end I am very satisfied!
If the budget allows it, I will be back next month right before the wedding (this party tonight is the bachelorette party). Talk with you soon!!
